Mistakes

I was thinking the other day of the mistakes I have made in my life and the impact they have had, not only on myself, but others as well.  Most of the mistakes were not thought-up or planned.  They just were.  Sometimes it was my impetuous nature, sometimes it was desire, and sometimes it was just plain thoughtlessness.

I always believe we should look deep within ourselves before we blame anyone else for our mistakes or problems.  For the most part, if we had done things differently, we may not have had the problem to start with.

I also believe, as the Bible tells us, that God sends us tests to see how faithful we really are.  To see if we are capable of making the Christian choices we should make.

I constantly try to be the best I can be, but, oh boy, do I stumble alot.  The journey God has given me has not been an easy one, but compared to others’ it is gravy.
