I really thought the older I got the more free time I would have, but it seems the opposite is true.
It’s like I wrote in my Christmas cards this year, and even those were at a minimum. I said, “There is not enough time on the clock, money in the bank, room in my house or energy in the body.”
And those are my excuses for not keeping up with *Southern by Choice*. I have tried to stay dedicated, even with all that is going on here, but it has been impossible for me to do. I hate not posting as much as I would like, so I have decided because I love words, maybe I can do some short posts that are thought provoking regarding, sayings, platitudes, mottos, remarks, proverbs etc. Hopefully I will get some responses, if there is anyone left that still is reading my blog.
The first one is a Maori Platitude.
“Turn your face to the sun, and the shadows fall behind you.” Being a Christian my mind immediately changed the saying to “Turn your face to the SON, and the shadows fall behind you.”
Blessings to everyone.
